Katie's eyes lit up as she read the SOUP office bulletin board. Adorable pets! Crazy creatures! "I'M GOING TO BOOP ALL THE ANIMALS!" she screamed. Unfortunately she was quickly informed that she was not, repeat NOT, allowed to bring in any pets or exotic animals to the SOUP office which, for the record, was totally unfair considering the theme, and also the fact that, you know, all of the editors randomly roam around in their animal forms. "THE SOUP DEPARTMENT IS UNFAIR! EVIL EDITORS ARE IN THERE! STANDING AT THEIR CONCESSION! PLOTTING YOUR OPPRESSION! IT'S OPPRESSION I SAY! OPPRESSION!" Katie shouted as she stormed back to her office. It seemed her emotions were causing her magic to swirl around inside because before she made it to her office, she abruptly popped into lemur form. "Hmmmm, it seems Neal has been thinking about me since I turned into a lemur. I'll deal with him later, right now I have to work on my article. Wait, how am I supposed to conduct an interview and write an article as a lemur? . . .
Hi there friends, it's Katie_slytherin here, and yup, you guessed it, I'm bringing you another addition of 'Chatting With . . . '! this month. Today I have zookeeper expert, Disneycookie, with me today. Get ready to see some cute pictures and learn some fun facts about the most adorable pets.
Katie: Hi there Dizzy, it's pawtastic to have you here with us, thank you so much for meeting with me today to talk about the fur-rific world of adorable animals! You've prepared a small presentation for us I've heard?
Dizzy: Yes I have! Today I will be showcasing a few of my favourite adorable animals. I'll show you some pictures as well as share some interesting facts with you. I've been studying the animal field for about. . . er, I'm sorry, I can't let this go on any longer. Katie, why are you a lemur?
Katie: Oh darn, I was hoping you wouldn't notice.
Dizzy: You were hoping that I wouldn't notice you are lemur. . .
Katie: I'm Katie_slytherin *shrug*
Dizzy: But. . . actually, you know what, nevermind. I guess I should just be happy that you didn't try to bite me or beat me with a stick when I came here. Alright I suppose I will get started with my first animal. This is a floofy cow! It's is a baby Highland Cattle, they are a Scottish breed.
Katie: AHHHHHHHHH I want that cow to be my best friend!
Dizzy: And here we have a baby moose. Did you know that a five DAY old baby moose can outrun a human adult?
Katie: Wow, that's insane. Adult moose are beautiful to see in the woods, but you don't want to mess around with a moose, they are bigger and scarier than you think.
Dizzy: Up next is the squirrel! Here's a hopeful fact, squirrels do not pose a rabies risk to humans.
Katie: Wow! That's great news! Now I am one step closer to stealing one as a pet.
Dizzy: And of course this wouldn't be an adorable animal thread without the giant panda! Now, we all know that these animals eat bamboo, but did you know that they need to eat at least two different kinds of bamboo so they don't starve?!
Katie:Eeeeeeee so cute! I love giant pandas!
Dizzy: Now we have the friendly lemur! Did you know that lemurs sing? I wonder if we could get a demonstration of that.
Katie: *sigh* . . . just move onto the next animal.
Dizzy: Now we have the wonderful tiger. Did you know that tigers know if they are in another tiger's territory based on the trees that are around?!
Katie: Wow, that's so cool! Tigers are interesting kitty cats.
Dizzy: And last but certainly not least we have the snake, because, well, we are Slytherin house afterall!
Katie: OMG I WANT IT!!! I want all of them! Thank you so much for showing us some of your animals, zookeeper Dizzy!
Dizzy: Thank you so much for having me! I love animals and love sharing knowledge! Remember to always respect animals! And if you see an animal in the wild, it's best to stay away and report it to the proper authorities, such as a park ranger, if necessary! And as cute as they can be, you definitely don't want to approach any baby animals, because mama animals are always around and she will see you as a threat! Stay safe, be kind, and be respectful to all creatures big and small!
