Letter from the Editors
- A dragon, a feline, & a wolf

Do you like cute and cuddly creatures as much as we do? As the Muggle saying goes, "if not friend, why friend-shaped?" after all! From Mooncalves to Crups to Kneazles, our writers have thoroughly enjoyed working from the SOUP offices this past month, along with their lovable companions. There was quite a mess, but we think it was all worth it in the end... except maybe for one person who won't quit sneezing and coughing now, but we won't go there.

Your fun-loving SOUP writers got to pretend they were world-class explorers in this month's issue titled Magical Creatures as Pets. So grab your own explorer hat and lace up your boots and join us on our adventures! We can all be like Newt, Rolf, or Luna, right?

The first stop on our exploration is the expedition in News and Noteworthy, where there's a wild HEXfari going on with the spotlight on quite a few locations around our site. On the home front, check out a brand-new column, Sporty Snakes; there is not only interesting (and entertaining) information, but an adorable feline makes an appearance as well. To help calm things down, try the Crafty Corner with a fun project for our furry friends. And don't forget to stop by the Recipe Box for a treat for yourself also! Finally, there are a wonderful variety of artistic animals to observe in Art Column. But there are many more stops and fun friends to discover, so you might just want to explore everything this month!

Now you think our writers would be used to all the fluff that invades the SOUP offices by now, wouldn't you folks? Having a Kitten and a Wolf as Editors usually means that we inadvertently leave some fur behind. Not on purpose, of course, but you know. With all the extra pets that have visited us this month, there is a literal mountain of the stuff. So much so that some of them dared to wail plaintively about the mess. But don't worry, it's nothing a good dose of Tergeo won't fix. So if you fancy enjoying a snuggle with something furry and warm, make sure you come in and join us!

Be sure to leave some feedback over in the Common Room SOUP thread once you've finished for a participation Jewel! Go ahead and click the first article now!
