Letter from the Editors
- a dragon, a feline, & a wolf

"Never react emotionally to criticism. Analyze yourself to determine whether it is justified. If it is, correct yourself. Otherwise, go on about your business." - Norman Vincent Peale

If there's one thing that we've learned down in the SOUP Offices, it's that we all experience a bevy of different emotions on a daily basis. Whether it's the joy felt after turning in an article, frustration when we feel blocked, or even despair when deadlines close in on us, each emotion shines through quite clearly. Have you ever had one of those days when you feel like you are just cycling through an almost random list of emotions? I know I have. This month our SOUP publication has focused on a few of those emotions.

As you start your emotional journey through this month's issue, why not take a peek at some truly inspiration art in Meaningful Pieces? For more pure emotional relating, there are melancholy reflections in Sadness in Harry Potter and then a more uplifting antidote in Joy in Middle Earth. To get tips on boredom, check out Dear Draco.

There were no shenanigans this month during these emotional assignments, but we are experienced enough to know that it won't last for long! Instead, we decided to give our writers a well-earned break... of a few days. Some of us are curious about how those breaks will be spent, but we dare not ask that question. Instead, we shall keep on plotting and planning. Do you know what's in store in the future?

We sure hope that the emotions evoked by our issues are far more positive than negative, but either way, we'd appreciate you telling us all about them! Be sure to leave some feedback over in the Common Room SOUP thread once you've finished for a participation Jewel! Go ahead and click the first article now!

Kalina is still rather tight-lipped about her predictions from Professor Trelawney a few issues back... that means it's juicy! We will keep digging around for that tea! Don't forget to come back for the next SOUP issue.

Do you have any ideas for future issues? Owl an editor or post in the Common Room thread and let us know!
