"Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them." - Marcus Aurelius

Sometimes in life, we can become overwhelmed by the enormity of the burdens we are made to carry. The minute details of our lives drive us insane with stress, and all perspective gets lost. It happens to us all. However, here in the SOUP offices, the quote from Marcus Aurelius reminds us that all we need to do is look up. The beauty and scale of the universe above us brings reflection and perspective. Even to the most stubborn of us. An ever-present reminder in the stars that we are just a small part of the bigger picture.

That being said, when we editors began to explain this month's Astronomy theme, most of the writers managed to suppress a groan, well almost. It was obvious that most remembered those cold nights and frozen fingers on the Astronomy Tower. It wasn't until we explained that we wanted something a little more abstract that rockets and starbursts began to sizzle through our Newsroom. So come and join us to see what our writers managed to create on their travels through the Cosmos!

To prepare for your journey of nighttime wonder, why not start with a brush-up of the planets in Galactic Greats? Once you're in the proper frame of mind, enhance your vision with Eyes Bright, Starlight before taking a look at the beautiful images in the Art Column. Wander about the site with The Night Skies, and then relax for the night with the beautiful poetry of The Stars of Rohan.

It was a fairly peaceful month here in the SOUP Offices. No fireworks. No floods. No avalanches. We Editors hope that it's the new norm... or even just a little break in the action. We were so pleased that we even approved overtime for a few of our staff! The nighttime skies are absolutely gorgeous -we hope that you find someone to ponder them with.

No. Lugh. That won't fit in the offices. I promise you, it won't. Kalina, don't you dare egg him on. Stop.

We will see you all next time! Tabitha! Come help get your friends in line. No. That won't work either. Stop it. SOS.

Be sure to leave some feedback over in the Common Room SOUP thread once you've finished for a participation Jewel! Go ahead and click the first article now!

Don't forget to come back for the next issue of SOUP to find out if the editors managed to find somewhere to stash the many star charts and rocket blueprints that our writers abandoned on their desks. Do you have any ideas for future issues? Owl an editor or post in the Common Room thread and let us know!
