This month arrives
And with it brings
Another birthday
For me.

I still miss my Uncle.
He always used to make my birthdays
Full of fun
And of joy.

My brother and sister
Love to give me gifts
And ensure
My day goes really well.

I love it when my birthday comes
Because I have friends
And the beauty of family
Around me for the day.

I eat all my favourite food
And drink my favourite drinks.
I can dance the day away
In total celebration.

I can have new things.
New books are a must.
And I wouldn't say no
To a new dress or two.

Overall I love birthdays.
They can be so much fun.
But I am glad
They only last one day!
