Hi there friends, it's me, Katie_slytherin! I've decided to take a trip back over to the News and Noteworthy corner of SOUP this month. I've got some HEX spotlights lined up for you, and I hope you're ready for them! Buckle up and hold onto your butts because this is going to be an exciting ride!
EVENT SPOTLIGHT
Ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, and everyone in between- we are thrilled to announce that HNTGD is back with its 6th season! What is this blob of letters, you may ask? HNTGD stands for 'HEX's Next Top Graphic Designer'- the number one graphics competition on HEX where talented users present their digital designs anonymously and battle their way to the top. Many hopeful digital artists sent in their best graphics, but only twenty-eight were chosen to compete in this gruelling contest. Each contestant has been given a secret identity via a pseudonym based on the Greek alphabet. There will be several rounds with different prompts and guidelines the artists must follow. A handful of contestants will be eliminated each round until we start getting to the finals. Not a graphics artist? No worries! You can join in the fun as an audience member! There are prizes, activities, and incentives to look forward to, along with the thrill of the competition itself. So what are you waiting for? Head on over to The Exhibition of Interdisciplinary Artistry (Magical Arts) to catch up on the latest HNTGD updates and mingle amongst the fans! And hey, for all you know, your best friend could be in the competition!

This special forum is specifically for those HEX partners who wish to officially be tied together! You might also find a few searching threads made by those who wish to be lonely no more *wink* *wink*! And perhaps you'll find yourself planning a ceremony of your own or for a friend! USER SPOTLIGHT Let's all give a huge round of applause to Are! Arlene is our Assistant Admin in our very own Slytherin Staff. Perhaps she was your HEX Mentor once upon a time, or maybe you've seen her around in the shopping forums where she is a mighty Global Moderator! I've had the honour of being able to work with her for over two years now, and I can confidently tell you that she is a hard worker and a friendly face! A real super snake!
ITEM SPOTLIGHT There are so many items on HEX you might not know some of the coolest ones! HEXmas will be coming up, and those wish lists will need to be updated! This month's spotlight is on Crowned Skull, which was supposedly found in Lestrange's vault.
