Hermione settled herself into a comfortable position on the sofa in front of the fireplace in the Slytherin Common Room.

"What's that book that you"re reading?" asked Pansy Parkinson.

"It's Ancient Runes Made Easy by Laurenzoo. I love runes, don't you?" replied Hermione.

"Ugh, no way. I can't stand looking at those squiggly lines and symbols. It gives me a headache," moaned Pansy.

"It's not that difficult," said Hermione as she scribbled a short message onto a parchment and then handed it to Pansy. "Try to decipher this. I'm sure you can do it."

It is your task to help Pansy translate the runes into modern English. Hermione has a clue for you. Her favourite runes are not the Elder Futhark. She prefers to read and write Anglo-Saxon Futhorc runes.
