Chatting With: Chantoya Johnson
- By Serenity Black

She doesn't like yellow. She loves chocolate. She always has a Plan B and C.

Hello, my amazing snakes! Welcome to this month's edition of Chatting With...Chantoya Johnson.

For the month of September our theme is Hogwarts Express. We've all imagined how our time on the Express would be. What we would eat. With whom would we sit. Each of us would have a different experience. This is why I wanted to interview a fellow housemate to see how her experience would be. I corresponded with Chantoya via our owls. Luckily, no owls were lost or harmed (by flying into a glass door) during the writing of this article.

Serenity Black: Thank you so much for letting me interview you today, Chantoya! I know you're busy and I truly appreciate you taking a few minutes to answer some questions for the SOUP. This month we will be discussing the Hogwarts Express. So, the first question I must know is, what sweet would you be anxious to buy from the Trolley Witch when she comes by?
Chantoya Johnson: Well, I'm a chocoholic, so I would most likely crave for some Chocolate Frogs. I know, this is not a very exciting choice. But, guess who will have the last laugh when a Dementor suddenly decides to enter the compartment? That's right, me.

SB: You definitely can't go wrong with chocolate. What would you do if you weren't at the platform in time and the entrance to Platform 9 3/4 closed on you?
CJ: Assuming that I'm alone and underage, I think I would wait for a while. Maybe some adult I've seen around before will appear eventually and help me out? And my Plan B would be to head to Diagon Alley. I mean, Side-Along Apparition and the Floo Network have to be good for something, right? It's not like travelling by train is necessary to get to Hogwarts. But since I'm a resourceful Slytherin, I also have a Plan C. The Knight Bus. I'm not very fond of that option though.

SB: I like your way of thinking! It's always best to have multiple plans to get out of any situation. Next question, who are you sitting with on the train?
CJ: My friends. And if I think about my hogfriends that would include Narcissa Black, Seraphine Duchanness, Kooky, GoldenHand and many others. We probably wouldn't even fit into one compartment. I guess we will just have to claim two that are right next to one another and swap places once in a while.

SB: What's running through your mind during your first time on the train, it stops and its doors open at Hogsmeade station?
CJ: Time to get sorted.

SB: Thanks so much for taking the time to talk to me. I like to play a game of rapid fire questions with every person I interview. I ask a question or say a word and you tell me the first thing that comes to mind. Do you mind playing?
CJ: Nope, I don't mind. I'm game.

SB: Perfect! Hogwarts Express?
CJ: Dementor.

SB: Favorite flavor of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans?
CJ: Marzipan.

SB: Platform 9 3/4?
CJ: Weasleys.

SB: What to you is the most exciting part about riding the Hogwarts Express?
CJ: Chatting with friends.

SB: Three quick facts about yourself?
CJ: I hate the colour yellow. I'm seriously scared of crocodiles. And my favourite dessert is tiramisu.

SB: That's all, thank you so much for taking the time out to let me interview you for this issue.
CJ: Anytime!

I hope you all enjoyed a small glimpse into the mind of our own Chantoya Johnson. Thank you again to Chantoya for allowing me to interview her. That's all for this month folks!

This is Serenity Black, signing off! See you all next month for another edition of Chatting With...
