The RP Factor 2016
1 August
Brace yourselves, roleplayers, for another exciting and unforgettable season of The RP Factor! RP Central's flagship event returns with more challenges - this year, the starting number of anonymous participants has been whittled down to 15, as compared with the starting 20 from 2015. Battling each other out for the title of top roleplayer on HEX, the 15 competitors will face six elimination rounds scheduled to run from 14 August to 30 October. At the end of numerous exciting writing prompts and thousands of new worlds created, only one roleplayer will reign supreme.

O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s
10 August
Our favorite academic exams are back! For a full month, HEXians will have the opportunity to be tested for all they have learned over their HEX education. Students in the fifth-year or higher will be eligible to take O.W.L.s while students in the seventh-year or higher will be eligible to take N.E.W.T.s. It's Hogwarts Extreme's 15th birthday! Check out everything that the Staff has prepared for HEXians over at the Birthday Forum -- and don't forget to join the 21 participation contests that Staff is hosting to celebrate the international aspect of the HEX community! Moreover, see all of the Special Edition designs for merchandise at the Site Store, customized specifically for this momentous occasion. Join users from all four Houses as we wish HEX a very happy 15th birthday!
