Hello and welcome to our Legends Among Us 2.0 exhibit here in the SOUP Offices. We have decided to turn our outer offices into a makeshift gallery of sorts for your viewing pleasure! Each month we shall endeavor to bring you delightful works from your fellow snakes who have been honored with our monthly awards across our various subforums.
So without further ado I invite you to join me at this month's gallery opening! First up, we have our beloved Heir of Slytherin for the month of September 2023, vale_99!
Hello, I am Valentina (some of you might know me as Val or Vale). I am honored to be this month's Heir of Slytherin, it makes me very proud because I absolutely love my House and couldn't imagine being anywhere else. Thank you all for supporting me, it means a lot! I have joined HEX over two years ago and so far, I loved every second of it. A place where you'll find me most often is the Slytherin Common Room, where I am allowed to be a part of the amazing SKWAD Team. Currently, the fall season is right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited about it. I love the warm and sunny fall days, where the orange colors of the falling leaves shine vividly. However, I also live for the rainy, misty days - just perfect for a cozy day inside, wrapped up in a blanket, watching Harry Potter (of course). Happy October and go Slytherin! <3
Join me now as we check out the latest artwork from our Magical Muse for September, Sera Rein!
Hi fellow snakies, I'm Sera. I haven't really been active for most of the years I've been in HEX. Even if I was, you've probably just seen me in DA, but that changed since last year simply because I had more time between the real-life stuff. I finally had time to chill and look around the site and the common room, hence you'll probably see me submitting entries for activities every now and then. Anyway thank you for being featured, here is a small something that I put together that reminds me of two older anime series, "The Count of Monte Cristo" and "Mononoke".
Our next shining snake comes to us as the winner of our Industrious Snake award for the month, Ninja Kitten!
Hey y'all! It's been quite some time since I've gotten a house award, and I'm quite giddy that it was Industrious Snake this time! I have no doubts that I embody the meaning of the word industrious, lol. I lost my off switch decades ago.
I'm one of your quirky editors for SOUP as well as one of the Assistant Admins for the house. I've been in Slytherin for 6 years or so now, I lost track of time whilst visiting and never left. I have felt the most at home in Slytherin -and trust me I definitely wandered through all of the houses to try and find my place. We had an amazing year last year and came so close to winning that coveted House Cup, will you join us and help us break through that glass ceiling this year?
This was an octopus I drew for our Inspiration of the Month earlier this year. He looks cute and cuddly but I typically think of the word creepy when I think of octopi. *cough*
Last, but certainly not least, we leave you with this blurb written by our Noble Slytherin for September, MVPMimi!
I drew this graphic for the Fandom Forum's Brain Food contest. I won the judged graphic, and it was the first time I've won something that was judged. I got 3000 HP for it! It was a contest that really motivated me to keep trying and participate in every contest HEX has to offer so we can get those house points for Slytherin and win the House Cup!
I think I can speak for all of us in saying that we wholeheartedly thank each of these brave souls for sharing a bit of themselves with us! Artwork in every form is usually something quite personal to each of us. We here at SOUP absolutely send our deepest gratitude and love to each of these amazing people!
Join me next month as we take a deeper dive into our next award winners in the noble house of Slytherin! This is your resident feline Editor, signing off as it's time for a cat nap!
