"At night, here in the library, the ghosts have voices."
- Alberto Manguel, The Library at Night
This month, our brave and adventurous trio of Editors have to agree with Mr Manguel. We have heard it all on our exploration of the depths below the SOUP offices. Whether it was in our cavernous library or the dark and rather daunting printing room, there were plenty of ghosts and ghouls to be found. Enough to fill this jam-packed issue with!
Our beloved writers carried the last of the Halloween mood into the offices too, and wereSo your first stop on our ghost walk should be something to get you in the mood, right? Well, we have the perfect thing if you take a look at Aria's spooktastic day with Peeves in Magical Musings. It's utter chaos, we promise you. After that, you may need to relax with a book, and Cissarose has just the story for you in the Book Corner. If that is not your cup of blood tea, then why not try diving into our bubbling cauldron of danger with Potent Potions? And finally, don't forget to put your feet up and enjoy a tasty treat with Momma Fox in the Recipe Box. This month's offering is sure to make your mouth water.
It appears as if the writers were a bit spooked even with the enthusiasm they first exhibited for this month's theme. We found several of them cowering under their desks by the end of the month, mumbling something about haunted halls. Hopefully, they'll be recovered and ready for our next thrilling assignment. In the meantime, we hope you're entertained rather than enervated by this issue!
