Dear Jacob
- By Sera

Dear Jacob,
I am a Pureblood wizard. I grew up in an environment where we did not really talk to Muggles like you. So I am really nervous and quite excited to write this to you. But I suppose you are the best person to ask. Since you have seen the many creatures of our world, I was wondering about one of the creatures of your world: mainly, a rubber duck? What exactly is it's function?

Love,
- A Muggle interest

Dear wizard who wonders about interesting things,
It doesn't look like a giant rhino, nor does it steal shiny things. It's just a rubber duck. You can use it in the bathtub. Do you know about the bathtub? If you squeeze one you can hear noises from inside some of them. But I have to warn you, if you step on the rubber duck while you're in the bathroom, you'll find yourself on the floor. It's quite painful!

Dear Jacob,
I visited your bakery and you have such tasty bread and cookies there. I was wondering: what kind of magic do you use to bake all of this?

- A fan

Dear hungry fan,
I have a fan? That was something I didn't expect. The only thing I use is my imagination. Can we call that magic? I shape the dough based on the things I see in my dreams and add a little love to them. I don't think there's anything stronger than that. Have you seen our new muffins? They have chocolate cream and a design I call the NIFF's Deserve. I can give you some for free if you recommend my bakery to your friends.

Dear Jacob,
The friendship between Newt and yourself has always been something I love. Although you were from different worlds you were very close. Do you think I can do that? Can I be friends with a Muggle? Despite my family?

- A Slytherin without a friend

Dear kind-hearted Slytherin,
Friendship is not connected to blood types. True friendship is feeling comfortable with your friend and being happy with him/her. Your worlds, blood types, and conditions may be different. But if you're happy together? They don't matter. Though, if you don't find a friend, come to my bakery. Sometimes you can make good friends with food, right? Or maybe you'll find your real friend on the way here?

Dear Jacob,
What happened between Queenie and you was quite emotional. It reminds me of some books I read and some movies I watched. I'm sure that was pretty sad for you. What do you think about this?

- A Hopeless Romantic

Dear Hopeless Romantic,
Queenie is a wonderful woman. She is funny, I felt happy with her, and I admire her. Oh! And she can bake very well. It's sad to talk about this. At least I wish some things would be different. But, "I was never supposed to know anything about this world and its people."

Dear Jacob,
I have to admit something to you. I am so afraid of all magical creatures that exist that I can't even look at pictures of them. What can I do to love these creatures more? Do you have good experiences with magical creatures?

- A fearful wizard

Dear wizard who must be brave,
That's a good question. Magical creatures often cause a problem. They're smarter and stronger than normal animals. That's why you have to be careful when you're with them. If they become angry, your life can turn into a nightmare real quick. If you want to love and get used to them, learn to be quiet first and don't doubt them. All of my experiences didn't go well. For example, you could try to pet them? But if you're facing a dangerous magical creature, all you have to do is run as fast as you can. Otherwise, it could be a tragic end. If they're too young or small to hurt you, you could try to hug them for once! Maybe they could eat your arm, but there's a little chance of that.
