Letter from the Editors
by Nicole & Tyler
Hello SOUP readers,
We're back atcha with another lovely issue of SOUP! We've decided to kick it old school, well as old as you can get when we're still in our fabulous 20's! - Anyways, that's not the point. We're going old school with this issue and tackling the topic of magic. How genius of us, right? Right? We know, but we don't mind hearing you say it!
So, what exactly is magic? We're not sure, but we love it. It runs through our veins. It keeps us alive and young. Honestly speaking, it might keep us a bit crazy too. Just don't go telling all of the new writers - they might run away if they find out! Speaking of the new writers, we think they're settling in nicely. We have Hav (haha) who wholeheartedly believes in the Force, and boy, lemme tell you, don't get caught at the watercooler with her. She will just about talk your ear off about it. Thank goodness you have magic to fix that ear?
Then there's Lilith, which is someone we think we need to keep an eye on. She's quite ... interesting, and evil. She's a good writer. Evil. Persuasive. Did I mention evil yet? Yeah, she's trying to convert everyone to using dark magic. Gryffindors, if you're reading, please meet with Lilith. If we have any hope of knocking some sense into you, it's her!
Want to know about something else that is magical? Puzzles! What? You don't believe us? Well, you should. The point here? SOUP has an all-new column that awards you some fabulous galleon prizes! Go check out "Puzzling Things" and send your entry to the SOUP Account.
Well, that's it for this month! We'll be back with some more inside news from the SOUP HQ next month.
Just hang in there until next time,
Nicole & Tyler
