Lakes can be fun,
Lakes can be pretty,
When they are all covered with frost.
But danger also lurks.

Mermaids, sirens,
Grindylows and... Watchers in the Water.
That last one is terrifying, really.
I wouldn't like to face any of them.

I do rather love the lakes in Rohan,
Especially when they're frosted over,
They look pretty and sparkle,
In the light of the sun and the moon.

Lakes almost have two sides to them,
Lightness and darkness.
In a way, that is how everyone is perceived,
I never really thought about that.

If you head to a dark lake,
Keep your senses around you.
You never know what could be lurking,
Just beyond the surface.

Overall, you should be okay.
Just remember to stay sensible,
Because lakes can be pretty,
And yet have a darker side too.
