Letter from the Editors
- A dragon, a feline, & a wolf

Are you as curious about what lies deep beneath the surface of the Black Lake as the SOUP Staff is? Surely their questions were purely academic, wanting to learn more and not because that sort of research meant hour upon hour of fun in the sun this past month. Lots of R&R on the shores of Hogwarts' precious lake, watching Lugh attempt to surf on the poor Giant Squid's back or Katie asking it question after question about which socks it prefers to wear on each tantalizing tentacle.

While the editors check their logs and several sheets of parchment (and Muggle notebook paper) filled to the brim with notes-and remove a few pieces of seaweed stuck on them- why not go check out the latest issue of SOUP? March entertains you with tales of The Black Lake! Our worn-out writers researched their hearts out (and got several hours of blessed sunlight), in order to bring you the latest and greatest stories about what lies beneath the murky waters. Come join us as we find out whether or not any of our writers got held up by any of the creatures or beings within!

Get your feet wet with Black Lake Musings and decide if you're going to follow suit with a dip in the lake. Then take a swim over to No Drowning Allowed! to keep your head above water. Maybe you prefer a more organized experience? Then check out Sporty Snakes! If all that exertion has you wiped, why not try a more relaxing activity with Seaweed Surprise? And to cap off your experience, take a vicarious trip to The Secret Lake - you won't regret it!

Once you spun your compass and successfully navigated your way through our latest and devilishly deep issue, come and rest with us on the sand and spare a thought for our exhausted and somewhat sunburnt writers and Editors. The lengths we all go to to bring you these intrepid tales are worthy of a Merman's crown any day. So while we all recover and dry off, why don't you let us know your thoughts about water creatures and enjoy the musical accompaniments we have uncovered? You won't regret it.

Be sure to leave some feedback over in the Common Room SOUP thread once you've finished for a participation Jewel! Go ahead and click the first article now!
