Double Trouble!
- Katie_slytherin

"To protect the Wizarding World from devastation, to unite all pureblood within our nation. To denounce the evils of Dark Lords and love, to spread Slytherin pride to the stars about. Katie and. . . uh, also Katie. Team Underscore blasts off at the speed of light, surrender now or prepare to be beaten with a stick!" Katie merrily skipped her way through the office, chanting her new catchphrase. Everyone loved it. I mean, who wouldn't appreciate listening to the same chant over and over as they're trying to work? But wait a minute! Why is Katie singing Pokémon when the theme is the Black Lake? Well, the answer is simple. In fact, it's the title of this article. . .

Hi there friends, it's Katie_slytherin here, with a new addition of 'Chatting With . . . '! This month I owled not one but TWO guests to join us today! This should be double the fun! Today I have two Hogwarts students with me today - Tokyo and Thomas - to talk about the wonders of the Black Lake! So grab your Gillyweed and follow us for an underwater chatventure!

Katie: Hello there. Thank you both for joining me! It seems that we have a double T team! How delightful! Alright, let's get started with a daring question. If someone dared you to, would you swim in the Black Lake?

Tokyo: Yes- I love swimming so much, and I'd love to swim in the black lake!

Katie: And how about you, Thomas?

Thomas: Yes, I would swim in the black lake.

Katie: No hesitation from either of you! A bold choice. Perhaps we can sneak off after the interview, and all go swimming together. Next question, with so much of the ocean unexplored, do you believe mermaids are real in the Muggle world?

Thomas: Yes, I do.

Katie: It seems we have a believer here! How about you, Tokyo? What are your thoughts on this?

Tokyo: Hm. . . I'm in between about that. There's a good possibility they're real, but at the same time, they could be stories.

Katie: I see what you mean; with so much universe out there, anything is possible, but it's hard to really say. I think they are real to some extent, but they might not look like what we expect. Well, jumping back to our topic of swimming, what is your preferred place to go swimming? There are so many different options!

Tokyo: Indoor pools. Mainly because they're most likely heated.

Katie: Ooooo, a heated pool, or even better, a hot tub!

Thomas: I prefer the ocean. I've been around the ocean my whole life. I love it.

Katie: The ocean can be a lot of fun too! I love jumping waves! Back to the Black Lake, do you think it would be warm or cold?

Tokyo: Hm, I'm not sure. . .

Thomas: It's cold, no doubt about it.

Katie: *scribbles down answers* Alright, and which Slytherin character would be most likely to jump into the lake?

Thomas: Well, besides me, I would have to say most likely Goyle at Draco's behest.

Katie: Oooo, very interesting.

Tokyo: I'd say Blaise Zabini. He just gives those vibes.

Katie: Ahhhh. the zucchini! How about which Professor do you think has gone into the lake before?

Thomas: If I had to guess, I would say Professor Lupin.

Tokyo: Probably. . . Professor Sprout. I'd assume she'd have discovered a new plant and wanted to go get it personally.

Katie: Both lovely answers! Alright, now, this might be the most important question of the interview if not in the whole entire world. What do you think the giant squid's name is?

Tokyo: Squidy. Cute and innocent like.

Katie: Short for Squidward? He's actually an octopus, you know. . . What do you think its name is?

Thomas: Never really thought about that, but if I were to guess, it would be something like Poseidon.

Katie: Is it a he squid? A she? A they??? Anywho, do you think fish live in the lake? If so, what kind?

Thomas: Yes, I'm sure there would be fish in the lake. I would expect there might be stuff like Trout.

Do YOU think there are fish in the lake Tokyo?

Tokyo: Probably, and I have no idea what types of fish are there.

Katie: Do you think there are a lot of fungi browning in the black lake, or is it magically cleaned?

Tokyo: I'd say magically cleaned. I'm sure Dumbledore would want to keep it nice and clean.

Thomas: I would think it would be magically cleaned. After all, everywhere else on the property seems very well maintained.

Katie: Interesting theory; we will have to take a dive in to find out! Alright, I won't keep you too long, my last question is- if you could be a creature of the lake, what would you be?

Tokyo: Mermaid!! That'd be pretty cool.

Thomas: A merman, of course.

Katie: I had no idea being a Merperson would be so popular, especially in this fandom. . .Well, I would be a Muggle mermaid, at least! Well, that's all of the questions I have for you today; thank you so much for agreeing to come and chat with me! That wraps up this month's of 'Chatting With. . . ' Let's put our fins together for Tokyo and Toffee, oops, I mean Thomas, for spending the day with us! Thank you for reading!

Until I reemerge from my cave again, this is goodbye from your favourite socktastically pureblooded Slytherin!
