Long Distance Relationships
By Desiree Snow
Who says that only couples monopolize the status of LDR's?
Long Distance Relationships are situations that even family and friends would sometimes have to go through. It can bring with it a myriad of problems and issues which affect the stability of the relationship itself.
But, personally, I think that any relationship would be able to overcome the struggles of LDR's if they just put enough time and effort into it. Both parties involved would make an effort to try and come up with a schedule where they can have video or audio chats during common free times. Even a simple email or instant message during random times of the day would be something that can keep the connection strong.
It's all about presence. Presence in the sense that they make an effort to somehow be a part of the other person's day, be it through a message or gift.
It might take a lot more work, but as the saying goes, "Nothing worth having is easy. Anything worth having, won't be easy to keep." If you really want something, you have to fight for it.
I think friends are always worth fighting for.
Till next time!
