Professor Slughorn's Tips, Memoirs & Experiences
By vamp_shadow_werewolf
As some of you may already know, books are my best friends and I've been spending the past few weeks living in the library of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. There had been rumors about 'an end to the world'. What end worse than Voldemort threatening the poor muggle society? He was taken care of... But in case of a tragic ending like that, I decided to stay in the library to die with my favorite books & if I got wounded then I could keep fighting the pain while reading books. An avid book club fan here.
I was searching through the restricted section when I fell across a really interesting old book. It wasn't really big, thick, spectacular or with a fancy cover; however, it did have a weird aura around it, the kind of aura that radiated from a true Slytherin author.
As I sank down to the corner of the restriction section, I opened that book and began reading the title.
Horace Slughorn's Tips, Memoirs & Experiences
So old Sluggy finally managed to write some 'memoirs' after all. Well I highly doubted that he had written it by himself until I flipped through the chapters & a few interesting chapters caught my eyes.
"How to Survive an Apocalypse."
This chapter seemed to be rather useful for the situation at hand. I quickly summoned a piece of parchment and a quick quote quill in order to take notes for the Book Club, if I ever managed to pull through the tragic end of the world.
The most convenient way to survive an apocalypse is to turn into what you are not. I have experienced it when Death Eaters forced their attacks. One must quickly create diversion and destroy surroundings to remove traces of existence. How could one possibly ignore the aftermath of the terrorizing disaster?! There will be survivors; Hungry survivors from both muggle and Wizarding population! Who knows about the effects of magic? It may vanish like everything else & leave you to find your way like a clueless muggle. You must hide from any possible threat. A camouflage like a sofa for instance, sounds lovely. It has greatly helped me in the past. You can always try to hide in the bushes- if they exist. Self-transformation is really useful.
Stick by yourself. It's no time to trust the survivors. Or even your friends & family. You never know true intentions of people in that situation! It is crucial to stay calm and be patient. It's not best to stay alive but this could be your chance of recreating the world! Dream big, my dear friends! You can look at it as an opportunity.
Well these notes were highly valued & indeed cherished by me. There's not enough time to ask question from Professor Slughorn, but whoever wants to learn more about this interesting little handbook before the end of the world, I left it in the restricted section for you.
