Puzzling Things

By Erin & Morgana

Chewy caramels,
Delicious chocolates,
Spicy Mints,
And peppery canes.

Milky-white chocolate balls,
Chocolate-covered coffee beans,
Raisins, blueberries, and strawberries;
All covered in sweet, suave, chocolate.

Oh, how I adore,
Chocolate kisses,
Velvety licorice (not quite) ,
And chocolate balls of nuts!

Candy, oh candy,
My love for you will never cease.
But my friends are sweeter than you;
Yet the price I would not have to pay is this:
Toothaches, cavities, and rotten teeth!

- Candy by Cassandra Jasmine

There are two parts to the first task. First you will play this Candy card game - you may need to shrink your screen slightly to see all the cards. After you have played it you will need to find the same 12 types of candy in this word search

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon's blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.

- from Macbeth by William Shakespeare

There are also two parts to the next task. The first part is a jigsaw puzzle which will give you the key to translate the coded text below:

Take screen shots of your completed jigsaw puzzle showing the number of pieces and the time that it took you to complete it, plus the translation of the coded text into regular English, as well as screen shots of the candy card game and word search.
