Soda Can Candy Bouquet

by Desiree

So you've just had your candy filled/summer time celebration and now you're stuck with empty cans of ice cream soda. Wait! Before you pack them all up in a garbage bag or throw then in the recycling bin, I have a quick suggestion on how you can transform these cans into wonderful give-aways or center pieces for your next celebration.

Here's what you'll need:

+Empty Soda Cans
+Foam Balls
+Gift wrapping paper/Colored Art Paper
+Ribbons
+Scissors
+Glue
+Lollipop
+Plastic Picks
+Candy
+Crazy Straw
+Tape

Once you have all of these items ready, you'll start by cutting the foam ball in half. Then, you will wrap it using the gift wrapping paper or colored art paper. If you want to really go green, use the gift wrapping paper from all the gifts you've received in the past.

Once you have one half of the foam ball wrapped, attach it to the top of the can using the ribbons. You could also use glue to stick the ribbon to the base of the can for stronger support.

After you have secured the foam on the can, you can start making the candy sticks. Simply stick the pieces of candy on the wider half of the candy picks using tape. Once they are secured, arrange them as you so desire on the foam ball. You may also add some lollipops or crazy straws for effect.

Once you are done, you now have a yummy new centerpiece which doubles as a prize or giveaway!
