Apocalyptic Art
- Aria

Oh dearie me! There's an apocalypse coming! What do we do? You know, I'm not the best person to ask about this, but I can show you some pretty art about what could potentially happen if that did happen. But it won't.

Today, we've got some art that's from a very special person. Yes, I've asked for permission, don't worry. This art is courtesy of my brother, who, for the purpose of this article, we will refer to as R, for anonymity purposes.

R started drawing when he was barely four years old. When he was bored, or stressed, he'd draw or paint and very quickly became an absolutely incredible artist. He currently designs maps for video games, and every time I look at his art, I'm completely in awe. In the Muggle world, muggles travel to different countries by flying in a plane. Now, planes are really cool, until something absolutely awful happens. Please don't be scared. This doesn't happen often; however, in the event that it does, I hope that we don't end up in a swamp like this. R created this painting to hone his craft and try to figure out his style.

If you take a really close look at this image, a lot is going on. He's placed creatures that look like crocodiles, and the little man in there even has a mask on. This doesn't look like a very safe place and absolutely gives me apocalyptic vibes. What do you think? Talented, isn't he?

Now, let's switch it up here. Have you heard of AI or Artificial Intelligence creating everything lately? There's been a lot of discussion about AI creating songs, but what about art? Take a look at this for me.

This piece of art was created by an AI. A robot?! This is so incredibly interesting to look at. Not only is it a beautiful piece of art, but it's colorful and definitely looks like an apocalyptic world. Just from looking at it, what do you think the robot was trying to achieve here?

Today's adventure in art was interesting, that's for sure. We saw some of the skills that my brother has, which really isn't fair, and we saw what a robot could create just from some programming. It's been a mind-blowing day in the art world. As always, let me know your opinions, and please feel free to share some art with me!

Stay artsy!
