I come to you today a bit distraught, my dear sneks. I started writing this article of Legends looking for some snakes who knew where the Summer Bash was. Unfortunately, I found a lot of snakes who had nothing to do. Not a prank in sight, no Gryffindor's with any spells cast on them, not even Draco plotting anything against Harry! What is the Wizarding World coming to? It's that pandemic again.....
I did manage to find one snake playing on some "gaming system" that was something about animal's crossing over to a new horizon? Sounds unusually cruel if you ask me. Even for a snake. Oh, perhaps I'm asking the wrong snakes? Well, if you are a Muggleborn, do you know what they are doing, would you owl me and explain? I'm lost, what is so fun about this "gam?" I'd prefer the egg toss game that is ending soon in the Serpents' Nest. How about we get out of this stuffy cubicle? Fine then, let's go snake hunting and see what we can find!
First, a shy little snake who we will call -A, is down in the dumps and has had writers block. How does -A overcome this?
(-A) Usually, I like just surfing the Muggle invention called, Google, it's better then Accio! Just searching, eventually something will catch your eye and BAM off you go like a whirlwind! I prefer to watch funny little things. Laughter is the best medicine, after all.
(S) That definitely sounds like a good way to get rid of writers block. Maybe I should try that one day!
For our next snake, let's call this one K. K doesn't like the heat so stays inside. How do you fight boredom?
(K) I've been studying mostly. Various subjects that have effected us lately. I've definitely had some eye opening moments that I am grateful for. Oh, I did read a new book! It was about snakes and a boy named Snow. Very interesting read if you're ever interested, you can borrow my copy!

Well, it looks like writing and reading have been topics for the summer. And whatever that new animals crossing thing is the hip youngsters are jiving with these days. Please explain it to this old geezer! No matter what you do, or where you go, always be safe and have fun. I'm sorry this hasn't been a fun article, summer has been boring for most. Why not send a story of something you did this summer? It might be features in the next Legends Amongst Us. I would love to hear from you snakes! Remember, my owl is always open.
