The heat is on and trouble is on the horizon! July 21st marks the twelfth anniversary of JK's last book of the original Harry Potter series Deathly Hallows. How on earth has it been so long already? Join us, dear readers, as we mourn those lost and celebrate the end of the Wizarding War with our theme Deathly Hallows! We have several different offerings for you in July's issue, so hit play on the SOUP Staff's playlist we've compiled for you, and get your tissues out!

Nikky here for a look into this month's issue! We have a special guest in Helena's Horoscopes, while News & Noteworthy has the details on our new staffers in Summer Has Arrived. You can also try your hand at guessing just what passage Rita's quill is talking about in the Sekrit Adventures of Rita's Quick-Quotes Quill. If puzzles are more your thing, then check out this issue's Puzzling Things for a shot at some Galleon prizes. And don't forget to read about how to get an invisibility cloak of your own in Deathly Fashion. We have all of this and more waiting for you, so join the battle and get to reading!

*Janelle wipes eyes and blows nose* Don't mind me, I always get teary-eyed reading Deathly Hallows. The final book of the series tugs at everyone's hearts, especially with all those who were lost within its pages. However, it does offer hope in the sense that the dead never truly leave us as long as we cherish the memories we have of them. The story of the Deathly Hallows themselves, that's another matter filled with many different morals and values. Whether it's the final book or the items created by Death, you still get mesmerized by them. Which death from the Deathly Hallows hit you the hardest? Let us know in the Common Room SOUP thread. Hopefully you have those tissues NK suggested you get out as you click to read the first article.

Until next time,
Nikky, Janelle & NK
