Spirit Animals: Crickets and Fireflies

For this month's issue, the spirit animals that we'll be featuring are those that shine (or sing) during the night. That's right! The spirit animals that we'll be talking about are: crickets and fireflies.
Let's start with Crickets. I'm not sure how common they are in other countries, but if you've watched enough movies or cartoons, then you've probably heard their gentle chirping sounds at night. You might find it soothing or ridiculously annoying, but either way, those are crickets. Thanks to one of my favorite Disney princesses (some still debate as to whether she is a princess, but I think she is, so there), we now know that Crickets are good luck charms.
What does the Cricket represent as a Spirit Animal?
Well, if you have a great voice, then you can associate that skill with Crickets. Like them, you have the innate ability to use your voice to attract what you want and need in life. Whether it be through singing or regular conversations.

Another interesting trait would be the inability to stay in one place at the same time. You are always moving around, jumping from one direction to another.
What does it mean when you encounter circkets?
1. Aside from being a symbol of luck, Crickets are also a sign of introspection. Look within yourself to find the answers you are looking for.
2. If you hear one, rather than see one, then it might be a sign that you are being bothered by trivial matters. Ignore them.
Fireflies
Another insect that was featured in a Disney movie is Ray, the firefly, from Princess and the Frog.
In this one, I actually like the insect more than the Disney princess. And if you've seen his song for "Evangeline", you'd probably know why.
What does the Firefly represent as a Spirit Animal?
Fireflies are remarkable creatures and their light often inspires creativity and awakens the imagination. Needless to say, fireflies are for those who are always brimming with new ideas and feel random sparks of energy.
What do Fireflies represent as Spirit Animals?
If you see one, then it means that you are going to go through a natural process of creative growth.
