Have a beach body ready by eating chocolates!
No, I haven't gone the deep end ... yet. That statement is true! Chocolates have several health benefits and we're hear to name a few:
~ Studies have shown that eating chocolates while exercising helps you loose weight faster. This works on the premise that chocolates are high in healthy antioxidants and thus they reduce the blood pressure-raising effects of exercise.
~ Indulging in a piece of dark chocolate is also a more logical snack compared to eating packs of chips since it has a rich, dark and heavy taste which leaves you satisfied even though you've only eaten a small amount.
~ Chocolates help reduce stress which then regulates or stablizes ones metabolism and other body functions.
So the next time someone says, that eating an apple a day keeps the doctor away, give them a chocolate bar instead. After all, one chocolate bar has five times the flavanoids of an apple!
