On a rather misty afternoon, I decided to once again go out and meet a Slytherin Legend. As always, I was pleasantly surprised by the place this lovely interview took place, which was at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.
It was warm and comfortable and I felt rather festive in my glittery dress, ready to start a new year. In this warm cafe I was meeting with Lola Turner in order to ask some questions.
MR: As we know, there are many legends in Slytherin. Who do you think is a legend? And do you consider yourself to be a legend?
LT: True, there are many legends in Slytherin including the founder Salazar Slytherin himself. I think, Severus Snape can be considered as a legend.
And no, I do not consider myself as a legend as I haven't done anything big for my house yet, but I'm hoping to make my house proud in the future.
MR: Who would you like to throw glitter at?
LT: Well... As for a canon HP character, it would be Regulus Black, for a HEXian probably all of my Slytherin friends including - Katie_Slytherin, AdeleTheHobbit, Kiernan, Pink Avocado, nealocampo and many others!
MR: What do you think about glitter in general?
LT: Sparkly? Fun? It's just so beautiful in its own way!
MR: If you could design a glitter outfit for New Years, what would you design?
LT: Hmm, probably something like a glittery black and green outfit, a black skirt with glittery chain, ankle length boots, and maybe an oversized green sweater with a hint of glitter!
MR: We all know glitter gets everywhere, in which room of the house would you rather have glitter and why?
LT: In our kitchen, because it would lighten up everything including our mood and it would make a big difference since my current kitchen is very vintage looking.
MR: Is there a book/movie character who you feel sparkles like glitter?
LT: If from HP franchise, it would most likely be Draco Malfoy because of his personality. Or Jo March from 'Little Women'.
MR: What do you think glitter means in the Wizarding world? Would it be different from the Muggle world?
LT: Glitter is Glitter! Now matter what color it is, it'll still remain glitter.
Which is, of course, correct. We all love some glitter now and then, and I do hope that in 2022 we can see a lot of it. As long as it is not too inconvenient to clean... maybe we should practice cleaning charms for that just in case!
