What is up my SOUP fans?! Tis the Katie_slytherin here bringing you your beloved chatty article Chatting with. . . Now, as I am sure you have all noticed by now, our lovely theme for this month is Glitter. I have brought in an expert of all things cute and pretty to talk to us. She also specializes in evil! Please give a warm welcome to the one and only Niini666!
To conduct this interview I had to leave my usual spot in hell (my throne) and descend to a delightfully cute but spooky area known as Meh. It is a special area of hell where evil skeletons walk amongst the most adorable unicorns. It was a nice journey and it was interesting to see how the peasants. . . I mean, how the other hell dwellers dwell. As an offering, I brought a bucket of black glitter- black as an evil sketchy colour and glitter for cuteness. This truly was the perfect environment for a spooky, sparkly interview. As I reached the land of Meh, I was greeted with a big hug from Niini and she led me to her unicorn sanctuary where I proceeded to conduct the interview.
Katie: Hello Niini, thank you so very much for responding to my owl and agreeing to meet with me. As I am sure you will find out, responding yes to the owl will be a mistake you will be sure to never make again. . . Let us start off with the grand prize question-Do you like glitter?
Niini: Of course I like glitter, what kind of human would if I don't like it.
Katie: That is a wonderful answer! I could not have asked for a more beautiful answer, although I think all creatures, human or not, are required to appreciate glitter. Onto the next question- If you could create a glittery HEX item what would it be?
Niini: Like a puffball, that is full of glitter, and you have the option to shake it on someone's head and then their posts look glittery.
Katie: Ooooo that would be great! Kind of like Amor Liberatus but an item. Which canon Slytherin would you like to dump a bucket of glitter on?
Niini: Draco Malfoy, can you imagine the glitter on that blonde hair?
Katie: It would be sparkly! He would go outside and sparkle like a pale vampire! Now, our next question is a bit more serious. I know you are a unicorn lover. In your professional opinion, do unicorns poop, vomit, or fart glitter?
Niini: I think they vomit glitter. Or even cry.
Katie: A crying unicorn? That is tragic! Whoever makes a unicorn cry will be sent to a special section of hell, I will be sure of that! But thank you for the information. It has been confirmed by expert Niini666 that unicorns commit glitter. While we are on the topic of glitter and mouth holes, have you ever had edible glitter?
Niini: Yes I did. I still need to go to a coffee shop here that serves glittery coffee.
Katie: Oooo so like latte art but with glitter? This is a must-have! It looks like our next SOUP Department field trip has been decided. We could all get glitter coffee designs, although perhaps they can also do it with tea? Anywho, we still have a few more questions for you Niini. Have you ever used glitter for an art project?
Niini: Yes, for art class in school, and to decorate some things.
Katie: Ah yes, glitter projects for school, those were the days, now I get to write papers and cry, yup, so much fun, boy do I miss the glitter project days! Decorating with glitter is also another wise option. Is it messy? Maybe a little bit, okay fine, a lot a bit sometimes, but it's definitely worth it every time if I do say so myself. Do any of your clothes have glitter?
Niini: Of course, I have a glittery dress and heels.
Katie: That sounds very pretty, I am sure you are the disco ball of the party with that outfit! What is the favourite glittery thing you own (and if you don't own anything glittery then why? What is wrong with you?)
Niini: hmm does perfume bottles count? I also had a perfume that had glitter in it. And all of my glittery body sprays.
Katie: Yes that does count and that is a fabulous answer! Both pretty and a lovely scent, it is a double win! Do you think glitter is an essential part of childhood?
Niini: Yes! There is nothing better than having hair full of glitter.
Katie: That is the correct answer, good job Niini! Research studies from the most trusted and prestigious and definitely real research center show that glitter is an essential part of healthy childhood development. Well, it looks like that wraps up our interview for today. Thank you Niini for letting us come to Meh and talk with you today. Just out of curiosity, what would you do if someone dumped a bucket of glitter on you?
Niini: I would shake the glitter from my hair on them and declare a glitter war!
Katie: Haha, that's nice *throws a bucket of rainbow glitter at Niini and runs away before she can do anything about it*
Until I reemerge from my cave again, this is goodbye from your favorite pureblood Slytherin! - Katie
