Draco Malfoy was sitting at his desk in the Malfoy Manor study, Astoria's had never been used. He sighed as he thought of his late wife and one photo caught his eye. It was a photo of himself, Astoria, and a toddler Scorpius standing outside one of the Disney Castles. It hadn't been the first time he'd argued with his parents over his wife's difference of opinion, and it had been the spur of the moment trip when Astoria had had a rare good spell after their son had been born.

Astoria had wanted to take them to Disney and Draco had said yes. Seeing the delight on Astoria's face as she spoke about the magic of it, and how it was a different kind to theirs, had been enough for the Malfoy Heir to say yes. He didn't really want to go, but knowing how ill his wife really was he couldn't have said no anyway.

They'd apparated to Wizarding Paris before heading out into the Muggle world and Draco soon became amazed at how Muggles worked and did things. He had often wondered how the Muggles did things, and now he was seeing with his own eyes. He was rather confused about things so Astoria had explained it slowly and carefully so Draco would understand, but nobody would think anything wrong.

Draco wouldn't admit, but seeing the characters in front of his face... and much bigger than they appeared... did terrify him. However, Scorpius squealing with delight made him smile. He had to admit that Astoria looked well... well she didn't look like she was ill at all. It was a rare moment for them where they appeared to be a normal family. Of course, he'd kept an eye on his wife, but she gave him no concern over the weekend, much to his relief.

He wouldn't admit a lot of things about that weekend, but he would certainly admit that it was one of the happiest times of his life. He'd moved to sit beside the fire and was now looking through the photo album that Astoria had created for him and Scorpius for after she'd died so their son would have happy memories of his mother; ones that were a stark contrast to her last days when she was bedridden, pale, and very ill. Those were the moments that the parents had tried to keep from their son.

A sigh left the blonde's lips as he traced a finger across a photo of Astoria and the tears threatened to spill from his eyes, but Draco forced himself to remember that weekend and how Scorpius had said that his mother looked like a princess... well as well as a toddler could speak. He laughed softly remembering what had happened seconds later after the photo was taken; he would be OK. Somehow, even though it pained him, he knew Astoria was there somehow and he soon allowed the memories of the weekend in Disney to absorb him and helped him to remember the good times he had with his wife.
