Which Harry Potter Heroine are You?
- By Sophie

Thankfully for me, writing this article, Harry Potter has no shortage of powerful women. From Molly Weasley absolutely destroying Bellatrix Lestrange in a duel (both with a spell and with her savage comments) to Nymphadora Tonks running headfirst into a war in order to protect her son, there were just too many instances to fit them all into one quiz -- and believe me, I tried!

Therefore, take the time to find out which of Harry Potter's (handpicked by me) classmates you most resemble, and discover where your emotions lie on the teaspoon-to-tablespoon scale.

1. It's your Charms exam and it seems to have gone well so far. As your final spell, Professor Flitwick asks you to perform any spell you'd like (how generous!). What spell do you opt for?
A. What? Free choice!? This wasn't in the textbook! You studied every single spell perfectly, but now you have to CHOOSE one? Panic sets in as you hastily cast a spell that sends poor Professor Flitwick flying across the room.
B. Ha, easy choice: a perfectly cast Bat-Bogey Hex!
C. Taking out your wand, you lazily spin it in circles and watch as Professor Flitwick and everyone else in the room starts floating dreamily off the ground.
D. Cackling to yourself, you whip out your wand and immediately hex another classmate across the hall. Hey, he never said you couldn't use it on someone else!

2. Your worst enemy comes up to you over dinner and challenges you to a duel that evening in the Trophy Room! Aside from throwing them dirty looks, what do you do?
A. No! Absolutely not! Under no circumstances! In fact, just for suggesting it, you're going to report them to the staff and make sure they're properly reprimanded. How dare they!
B. Accept immediately -- finally, a good excuse to turn them into a giant slug!
C. Turn them down, but end up bumping into them in the Trophy Room later during your nightly wandering, anyway.
D. Agree, but make plans to tell the teachers to make sure they're caught in the act of sneaking out. (How delightfully evil!)

3. After just one week, your pile of homework seems to resemble Mount Everest, both in size and in difficulty. The clock on the wall has just chimed 10pm and you have an early start the next morning (let's hear a sarcastic "yay!" for Care of Magical Creatures at 5am). What do you do?
A. "What are you talking about? This is going to be fun!" Within the hour, you've finished all of your homework and half of your friends', and eagerly head off to bed in anticipation of receiving more homework tomorrow.
B. Sigh, pick up the first sheet of homework, reluctantly chuck it back on the table, put your hand in your hands, muffle a scream, and go straight to bed. You'll just remain in denial about it (good tactic!).
C. Stay up all night, slowly working through your homework, and still arrive at the class fifteen minutes early and looking refreshed (how do you do it!?).
D. Bully a group of first-years into doing your homework and go straight to bed, fully intending to sleep through tomorrow's lesson, anyway.

4. It's time for the Quidditch tryouts! Are you going along?
A. Yes, but only to support your friends who are trying out for the team. You + sports = bad time.
B. Absolutely! You've been waiting for this moment for years! Time to up your street credit by 1000% and make the team.
C. No, broomsticks aren't really your thing, considering that you seem to cause some highly explosive accident every time you get on one. Maybe you'll try out for commentator at a later stage?
D. "Wait, is he going to be there!?" You rush out to the stands, both to cheer on your crush, and to trash talk and generally destroy the morale of the other students trying out.

5. It's that time again: the classrooms have been locked up; students are saying goodbye to friends everywhere; Peeves has flooded the entryway to cause the most amount of disruption possible. Yes, it's the end of the school year. How are you spending the last day?
A. This is no time to kick back and relax -- you've just gotten your summer homework and you're only 99% sure that you understand it all. Time to find Professor Sprout and check you're doing it right!
B. Ooh, maybe a quick game of Quidditch outside with some friends? That's always a chill way to end the year.
C. You'll be wandering around the school, looking for your lost clothes and textbooks that other students have hidden in ridiculous places (though hopefully not in the boys' toilets again).
D. Lock some students in a classroom and just generally remind everyone who's in charge. You can't have them becoming less scared of you over the summer, can you?
If you answered...

Mostly A: You are Hermione Granger! Always concerned with following the rules, you'll eventually learn the importance of taking a break and re-evaluating your priorities. Even if you can be a little uptight at times, your friends know that you will always have their back.

Mostly B: You are Ginny Weasley! Having grown up with six older brothers, you've always felt like your achievements were overshadowed. However, you are an excellent witch in your own right and you'll soon have your moment to shine.

Mostly C: You are Luna Lovegood! No-one seems to understand or appreciate your slightly wacky nature, but don't worry: soon enough, you'll meet friends who truly value you for who you are.

Mostly D: You are Pansy Parkinson! Although you may have a fearsome reputation throughout the school, we can only hope that you'll learn to love yourself more and treat others respectfully.
