Heroic Fashion

Now, I love heroes and heroic actions just as much as the next person, but there are some dos and don'ts that you should listen to while being the heroine of your own story. As a little disclaimer, I can guarantee that nobody will live up to the greatness of Roberta Warren.

Leather jackets are one of those icons that you can either pass off, or you can't, and Warren can absolutely pass it off. Sometimes if a leather jacket is just thrown on anybody, it feels out of place and can no longer be taken as a sign of "I'm the hero and you're not allowed to mess with me!" but rather a sign of "I wanna be cool so I'm gonna follow all the 'bad character' tropes!" which is the image I'm hoping Slytherin can move past! There's only a handful of situations that these jackets are acceptable honestly, the first if being a hero and saving all of your close friends and family. I suppose saving the world is also an option, but does anyone really have the time for that?

Catchy slogans people! Everyone needs one and the best of people have them. There's been the saying of "great responsibility comes with great strength" or something like that, well if you wanna fill the roles of hero and greatness then you need to have a slogan of your own. This is something you gotta own up to and live with for the rest of eternity. Even after you've decided to hang up your hero outfit for a good while, this slogan is going to follow you around and be attached to your entire signature. Unless, of course, you wanna take a good page out of Warren's book and constantly announce "If anyone asks, we were nowhere near the Slytherin Common Room!" after anything bad happens.

Lastly, you're going to need an accessory in order to tie everything together. This can be almost anything, the keyword here is almost. You can't just throw any old accessory on your outfit and call it good, there are some keys to take into consideration before you go out there to achieve your goals with some questionable attire. My personal favorite is always some kind of utility belt, something that I could stash all the weapons for world saving in. What's the point of having some kind of flowy cape if it'll just get in the way when you can have a belt with pockets on it? The bane of all female fashion is now changed with a single item, a place to store our phones and other objects in without running out of pocket space or having everything fall out of! Utility belts are always amazing.
