Chatting With...

Welcome, dear readers! I�m sure you�re curious as to who I have interviewed this month. Well, let me tell you, I was able to catch this lovely lady in the Slytherin Common Room. She�s such a friendly and nice person! She�s great to talk to, even if she is a little crazy. (That�s the good kind of crazy.) She�s recently joined our home, but she totally belongs there! Being January�s Heir of Slytherin proves that! Do you know who it is yet? Please welcome Lia the Awesome (mermaid7girl)!
We sat in the nice, plush emerald green chairs in the Common Room. The fire gave a nice, calming glow. It is definitely home.
�Well, welcome Lia! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to let me interview you. What would you like to say first?�
�Hello hello hello my fellow Slytherins!� Yup! She�s addressing you guys.
�So, what are your thoughts on being January�s Heir of Slytherin? It must be exciting!� I asked, taking a sip of my chilled butterbeer in a bottle.
�It was a HUGE surprise for me. I had just recently become more active on HEX (I would only log on for HW and Daily Money) and I really hadn't introduced myself since I became a Slytherin so I decided to just be my intrusive self and started being like a regular Common Room lurker, making new friends, participating in the different events and weekly threads.� Well, if you ask me, she�s more of a chatter than a lurker!
�What has been your favorite thing about Slytherin so far?�
�My favorite thing so far are the people, all the CR regulars, the staff, the stragglers that come in. I like to meet new people and chat with everyone. I also like the weekly/monthly contests and threads we have, it's a way to meet more Slythies that on occasion come inside the CR.� All of you reading this, go bug her! She loves people. 
�What have been some of your favorite topics that you've seen in the common room?�
�I really like the weekly activities in the common room, more like puzzles and quizzes that the staff posts.�
Keep those quizzes and puzzles coming, staff!
�If you'd like to talk about it, why'd you switch to our house? You don�t have to if you don�t want to.� Is anyone else curious, or is it just me?
�As I've mentioned a few times, I was in Hufflepuff for 7 years before I made the switch to Slytherin. Though I enjoyed being a Huffie, I found myself drawn more to the Slytherins and spent a lot of time with them (back when they were really active in KA) and then one day, the day I joined Pottermore xD, I was sorted into Slytherin and took it as a sign that I was meant to be in this house, and so that's what happened. The friends that actually showed me HEX had been sorted into Slytherin as well, though they are not on here anymore, I felt kind of left out, and the CR, for me, wasn't as welcoming as the Slytherin CR.� And now we know!
�Thank you for sharing that! Now more about what you like�What is your favorite thing about the Harry Potterverse?�
�The community. I think the Harry Potterverse has brought so many people from across the globe together because they all like/love Harry Potter and it leads to meeting new people whom we grow to love as friends and equals. I feel like the Harry Potter books and movies brings all the different types of people together and unites them and it's just amazing how people quickly bond over a series that has captured so many minds and so many hearts. It's truly amazing.� I don�t think anyone could�ve said it better. Do you agree?
�Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?� It�s one question we can�t forget to ask, right?
�It's a tie between Snape and Hermione. Snape has fabulous greasy hair and Hermione has a brain to kill for.� Anyone else into that greasy hair?
�Now what about things you like to do off HEX?�
�I like to take naps, do some shopping, and spend time with my friends.� Sounds like some fun. I�m pretty sure this translates into being into the HEX economy, so go give her your rares.
�What else do you like, as in, what are your favorite things?� This time, she took a sip of butterbeer. Yes, I bring the drinks when I interview. I bet you want to be next, don�t you?
�Here comes a list!
Color - black (don't ask lol); Food - chicken nuggets (I kill for these); Disney Princess - Sleeping Beauty (but they each have a special place in my heart); Song - Right now, it's Blank Space by Taylor Swift; Movie - For this month, it is Gone Girl. I've watched it 3 times in the last week; TV Show - Breaking Bad but I do binge watch TV shows all the time so I have many favorites; Sport - American Football (something about guys hitting one another is barbaric, I love it); Harry Potter Book: Deathly Hallows; Harry Potter film: Half-Blood Prince�
�Those are all very interesting! I have yet to see that movie, so no spoiling it! Change of topic�do you know anything about Mardi Gras?�
�I know it's like, a festival in New Orleans, Louisiana that's supposed to be fun.�
�Would you want to join in SOUP's Mardi Gras party? We've got some beads with your name on it~� Only people on the guest list can enter, so you should send me a rare and I�ll get you added. I promise.
�YES YES TRIPLE YES! I've never been to a Mardi Grad party.� Guess who�s attending!
�So, Valentine�s Day is coming up. What is your opinion on it?�
�I think it's a nice holiday, not something I'm really into. But it's nice to go the extra mile to show your significant other, family, and friends, a little more love than what they're really used to.�
�What holidays are you into then?� There has to be one, right?
�Is my birthday a holiday? I really like Halloween, I like to dress up and so spooky things, and by spooky things I mean go to like abandoned houses, watch horror movies at 3 in the morning. I also like Christmas, because, presents lol.� I think we can all agree on that whole presents thing.
�You know what else there is? Winter. I�m tired of the cold, are you?� A shiver ran down my spine just thinking about going out in the cold snow and windy weather.
�I like in Florida. I don't really have this "winter" thing.�
�Well then, would you share your warm weather with those of us who have to suffer through it?�
�NEVER. The warm, Florida weather is all MINE.� Never mind about her being a nice person. Such a mean one!
�What would you do if we stuck you in Alaska during the winter?� See, two can play at that game.
�I would probably die. Who does that to a good person? jk I'm like 2% good.� Well, we probably shouldn�t get another Slytherin killed. Never mind on this plan.
�Hm, would you like to give a shout-out to any of your friends? I�m sure they�d never send you to Alaska.�
�Well, this goes out to Liam, Ehl, Nicole, Frances, Joe, Beau, and Lai (even though she's a Huffie now, I still love you) you guys have really made me feel welcome not only in Slytherin but also on HEX. Thank you <3�
�Aw, you're so sweet! I'm your favorite, right?� Please say yes. Please say yes. Please say yes.
�Maybe.�
�Okay, we�re wrapping it up right here before you can change your mind! Thank you for letting me interview you!� I laughed.
Sorry guys, I�ve become a favorite. Well, maybe. Let�s just say, I�m taking that maybe as a yes. You all should go talk to her though, seriously, she�s nice and fun to chat with! I can�t believe she�s still insisting I tell you to give her your rares, again. But you should do so, especially anything that�s on her wishlist.
