Listen, the snow is falling all the time
It's the time of year where the weather changes over, no matter where you are. Yes, in some places it's that transition from hot to cold and in others, it's the opposite. Some are also a lot more noticeable a transition while some others are a bit more subtle. For those of us in the northern hemisphere it's marked by the beginning of deep freezes -and yes- lots of snow. This will be my first real winter in over a decade as I spent the last decade in a mix between western North Carolina and Houston, Texas. I had a tiny bit of snow and ice while in North Carolina, but Houston? Yeah, nothing... other than that REALLY odd and harrowing deep freeze that happened early this year right before we moved to Chicago. This winter is bringing about a sense of nostalgia for me as I did spend my first 26 years in places full of snow and ice... but ask me how I feel again come March 2022. Lol.
