Hello, Snakes! It's Christmas time at Hogwarts. As we prepare to head home for the holidays, I know many of us are starting to think about gift giving, Christmas dinners and parties. So, for this month's Chatting with... I have asked many Slytherins some Christmas related questions. So without further ado, I present to you this month's Chatting with...
Serenity Black: "So, Draco, I know your family is known to throw some amazing holiday parties at Malfoy Manner, I may or may not have attended a few. Many wizards have said that your family's holiday party is a highlight to their Christmas season, but I'm curious, what is your favorite part of this time of year?"
Draco Malfoy: "You mean other than leaving this school for a short time?" he asked seriously. "I would say just spending time with my mum. Father is away often on Ministry business. So, it's usually just me and her. But don't you dare tell her I told you that I like spending time with her... I'll deny it."
SB: "Astoria, if you could have any gift this Christmas, what would it be?"
Astoria Greengrass: "I don't really wish for much, I've been lucky to never really have been in need for material things. So, material wise, nothing."
SB: "How about non-material?"
AG: "I think I would just wish to live a long happy life. It's sadly not in my future due to my condition, but I think that's what I would wish for."
SB: "I wish that for you as well, As! Do you have any advice for people trying to get through this holiday season stress free?"
AG: "I think there will definitely always be stress this time of year. However, I would suggest just enjoying this time with your family and friends. Just sit back relax and enjoy them."
SB: "Parkinson, you're the best in our house to ask about this. Where in Diagon Alley is the best place to shop for last minute Christmas gifts?"
Pansy Parkinson: "That's an easy one, Borgin and Burkes. If you've got the proper amount of Galleons for a gift, that is."
SB: "Professor, may I ask you a question related to Christmas for the SOUP? "
Professor Snape: "No... you may not."
For this month's rapid fire questions, I asked them all the same questions. Here were their responses.
SB: "Snow on Christmas or no?"
DM: "Sure, why not?"
AG: "Most definitely."
PP: "No snow."
SS: "I will not... participate."
SB: "Favorite way to decorate your Christmas tree?"
DM: "Have the house elf decorate it!"
AG: "My mother hates it but, I like to decorate it without magic."
PP: "I think we have a house elf do it. Maybe mum uses the magic?"
SB: "Favorite candy or chocolate out of Honeydukes to gift someone?"
DM: "Just grab anything."
AG: "Unopened Chocolate Frogs."
PP: "Honeydukes' Best chocolate."
That's it for this month's Chatting with... This is Serenity Black signing off, wishing you all a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year. See you in the new year!
