ACHOO! Aaaa-CHOO! Is it just me or does anyone else ignore their allergies when it comes to flowers? There's just something about them. The beauty and elegance or sometimes even quirky natures. The soft floral scents as well as the more pungent aromas. Nature is often so beautiful and peaceful for me and I can't help but want to be around it, up close and personal. Come take a walk with us as we explore the many flowers and plants surrounding us in August's issue of SOUP.
Up first as we tiptoe through the tulips is a brief stop to watch Katie harass talk to poor Terence about "flours" in Chatting With... Poor confused boy. Then we are taking a hop, skip, and a jump into the roses with Eowara's Alumni Adventures. If all those thorns are not your thing, you can always take a wander through the wisteria to Momma Fox's cottage to see what surprise she has in store for Nikita in the Recipe Box. Then after all that excitement, you could always relax in the Crafty Corner with little dragon and see what she has for you to make this month. Wherever you end up, this issue is bound to make your life smell so much sweeter. So come and enjoy it!
After all of the cleaning that we subjected the writers to after last month's assignment, it was truly a breath of fresh air to come in and . . . well . . . smell the roses! And the lilacs! And the - you get the idea. In fact, several of the writers attempted some of the olfactory potions Aditya was cooking up, with - shall we say - mixed results. So we shooed them all back out of doors to finish their articles and give the house-elves a much-needed break as well. Hopefully, things will be back to normal in the offices soon. In the meantime, we've gathered a bouquet of fun reading for you.
Grab some sunscreen, or maybe a hat, and take a hike with us through nature while checking out our newest issue of SOUP, where you can see what our writers have to say on the subject. There's a little bit of everything - from several different perspectives, so we're sure you'll find something that is of interest to you. We hope you have as much fun reading as we did writing!
Be sure to leave some feedback over in the Common Room SOUP thread once you've finished. Go ahead and click the first article now!
