If there are ever two things we know for sure about the lovely Luna Lovegood is that she is the kindest person you could ever meet in addition to the fact that she is an incredible artist. In order to comprehend her artistic style one must first admire her bold and fearless flair. Her sense of fashion is iconic and timeless. Luna's sense of style in itself is a walking art piece. Luna is a muse to us all, her artistic choices are definitely a source for inspiration. Although she is often referred to as "slightly out-of-step" and peculiar she is much more, she is unique in everyway. Her self of expression not only pours into her lifestyle, only a true artist would find beauty in the ordinary and create a masterpiece. Such was the case when she laid eyes on corks of Butterbeer. From this she created a necklace, which also happened to serve as a repellent for Nargles. This proves that she is not only a master in her craft but also thrifty.
Luna is well known for her "famous lion-topped hat" among her peers. She created the piece from a pointed top hat along with a design of a stuffed lion. The original concept was to demonstrate a Lion chewing up a Serpent in support of the Gryffindor against Slytherin Quidditch match. Unfortunately, our dear Luna did not have enough time to complete it. After all, she is a very dedicated Ravenclaw who must have been caught up studying. No one could blame her for focusing on her studies. As epic as the concept was, her hat was still breath taking. So much so that students could not stop complimenting the hat down at the Quidditch Pitch during that Gryffindor again Slytherin match.
In addition, Luna created a hat for the Ravenclaw against Gryffindor match. This new hat was created in honor of her house, Ravenclaw. Her hair wear portrayed a strong elegant Eagle flapping its wings. It was so life-like some students confused it for an actual Eagle on Luna's head! It seems curious to think where Luna's source for inspiration springs. Even now, some Hogwarts students continue the tradition of creating similar hats to those that Luna wore to the Quidditch matches. Without noticing, Luna left behind a legacy and a now famous tradition. As the muggle singer Taylor Swift once said, Luna Lovegood will most definitely "never go out of Style."
