News and Noteworthy Events

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Slytherins and Slytherettes, it's time for another update on the latest news and happenings.

In the spirit of getting to know one another, we've decided to keep our news coverage to Slytherin only news! ...mostly. Okay it's like 87% Slytherin news. You're all welcome.

First off on the list is the lovely InterHouse Competition. We've been paired up with the woeful wonderful Gryffindors. And it was for the better, it seems. We've won nearly every round so far, minus the Music portion, and are barreling forward to take the title of BEST HOUSE EVER. (Disclaimer: that's not the actual title, but you say potato I say potato... that saying works better aloud. Pretend for our sake.)

The Final Task has started and is wrapping up another invigorating and memorable InterHouse Competition. Join us again in two years (maybe?) to see us paired with Ravenclaw (again, maybe)!

And going along with the InterHouse Competition news, we're also bringing the lovely Slytherin members an InterHouse event (we being Luxa and Tyler)! The event is based around a Care of Magical Creatures gone amuck and is going to be a real hoot. (Like an owl. Not a magical creature, but that was the best I can do with puns, okay.) You should all go check it out and prance around the streets!

And now, for the Slytherin only members, we're presenting you all with the Slytherin Dorms' news. Your favorite Head Boy and Girl have brought you all an amazing event to bring about the ending of summer. You can all go and travel around the world with them as they run away enjoy traveling around the world!

If traveling internationally is not your cup of tea, then instead, you can make your way over to the Chamber of Secrets forum to travel through the world of Harry Potter with the continuation of the Great Re-Read.

And lastly, we would like to congratulate Ted for his winning of HEX's Next Top Graphic Designer! Not only did he submit some amazing pieces, he also brought home some awesome House Points! Way to go, Ted!
