Ok whose brilliant idea was this????
Why do we really need seasons? I mean come on there isn't anything good about moving from winter to spring to summer to fall to winter and repeating that endlessly.
And misery comes in every season.
Summer - I could live without the 100 degree days thanks. Ok let's be honest, I could live without the 90s and 80s too. Sure beach days can be fun. Until you find out that the sand got EVERYWHERE so now you have a ton of cleaning to do too.
Fall - Ok so first of all for all you students out there, fall inevitably means back to school and homework and no free time. If that isn't bad enough, tis also the season to pack up all your summer clothes to make room for your winter clothes in your drawers and closets. And then when you finally stop procrastinating and actually do so Mother Nature strikes back with yet another heatwave. Thanks Mother Nature. Really appreciate that one. NOT!
Winter - Do I really need to address all the snow you inevitably have to shovel every winter? I mean we have some really insane technology now... How about some heated cement that melts snow as soon as it touches the ground, no matter how much snow is falling? I mean come on people! And don't get me started on all the black ice you inevitably end up falling on. Mother Nature, you still owe me for the laptop I broke landing on it when I slipped on the black ice on the way to school. Just saying.
Spring - Seriously this should really just be renamed to allergy season. Or sneezing season. That is all I ever seem to do during spring. Like fall it is also that time of year to put away your winter clothes so you can take out your summer clothes. Of course then you find out nothing of that fits and Mother Nature decides to throw one last hissy fit with another cold front so then you end up looking like a dork in shorts and the one sweatshirt that didn't seem to make it into storage.
Seriously. I think we can all exist quite happily without seasons existing. Just get rid of em.
