Poetry Column: Seasons Change
- By: Falling Leaf

Seasons go and seasons come
Seed to bud to bloom
Changing colours, transcending temperatures
Forever circling through

Frost and snow melt away
Sprouts start emerging from seeds
Birds flock back to places they left
Spring is in the air

Temperatures rise as warm weather beckons
Thunder storm rumbles across the land
Only to dry up once the clouds have passed
Loving those Summer nights

A nip in the air starts slipping in
Orange and yellow taking over the green
Crunching leaves cover the ground
As Autumn settles in

White sparkles when it starts falling
Blanketing everything in snow and ice
Breathe becomes seen as cold permeates
Winters icy fingers clutch around you

Forever circling through
Changing colours, transcending temperatures
Seed to bud to bloom
Seasons go and seasons come
