Earth's Artistry

Emerald carpets as far as the eye sees
Speckled with sapphires, rubies, diamonds
Giant pines and evergreen trees
Interspaced with maple, oak, elder
A visual sensation that weakens your knees

The howl of a wolf pack echoes close by
Scattering deer, antelope, rabbit
While the hawk let's out its own cry
Hiding are gophers, mice, squirrels
A symphony that brings a tear to your eye

Take a look around and you won't be upset
Everything has a life, a spirit, an artistry
From the largest tree to the tiniest rosette
Earth is breathtaking to see and experience
Close your eyes and breath in to retreat, relax, reset
