Legends Among Us
- By: Sal Has Done It Again!

Deep in the Forbidden Forest, no we aren't at SOUP anymore, is where you will find your next adventure. You know, I do love discussing the Legends Among Us, but today I have something a little different. As you may know, or just learnt, Earth day is this month and we are celebrating it. What better way then to discover some legendary creatures? No, I'm not talking about those Pokémon Muggles are obsessed with catching and training! I'm talking about dragons. Please tell me you brought proper PPE for this? If not, here you go and put it on. Janelle will be so distraught if you harm a dragon. Can you imagine, the possibility of a sick dragon?

As you know, dragons are XXXXX per Ministry of Magic classification. I'm sure you can think of a few breeds that this is very spot on for. Anyone remember Harry's dragon? Have you ever wandered about the baby dragons on the reserves and sanctuaries? No? Well today you will! I managed to get Hagrid to persuade a certain Dragonologist to bring some. Shush, top secret of course!

Did you know dragon young are actually called chicks? Chicks don't start breathing fire until they are roughly six months old. These here aren't that old so no worries... yet. It's feeding time, so go on. That bucket is full of a chicks favorite, brandy mixed with chicken blood. It's recommended to feed them every half hour as well. Better hurry, they look hungry! Baby dragons usually stay with their mothers the first year of life. After that they can be separated as they've begun to learn to hunt. As same breeds of dragons are highly territorial, this information many vary.

See the Chinese Fireball there? She's a female and bigger then the males. Fireballs are a bit different, usually the females are larger then their male counterparts. Still, beautiful none the less. Hey, I didn't tell you to touch it, stay away or no more field trips! Can't have McGonagall on me about students missing fingers now, can I?

It has been said the Ukrainian Ironbelly has been responsible for a few missing Muggle ships over the past four centuries. Maybe that's how the Bermuda Triangle rumors got started, dragons? It's really a lot to think about. Who knows what mysterious occurrences are Wizarding world related? I'm sure the Ministry knows but I'm not privy to such information.

Oh, would you look at the time! It's getting late and we don't want to get caught by Filch. Off you go, and remember to read an article of SOUP for the latest happenings! This is Salazia and I'm off to help Hagrid get these beauties back home before we get expelled! Love you all and be safe out there!
